What particular and/or sensitive personal data do we process?

How long do we keep your personal data?
Comments on the website:
On Reizen & Reistips, you can leave comments under a post. We ask for your name, email address, and possibly a website address. This information is visible to everyone on the website once a comment has been posted. You can choose whether you receive a reply when you post a comment on the website. Your IP address is also visible to us on the back of the website. This information will be retained until we delete it. If you would prefer a comment to be deleted, please contact us. Forms on the website:
We have two contact forms on Reizen & Reistips. One is the standard contact form. We ask for your name and email address. After submitting the form, we receive an email in my inbox, and the emails are also stored in the WordPress backend. The same applies to the form on the "Submit Guest Post" page, with the added bonus that we also ask for your company name (although this is not a required field). If you'd like to see the contents of an email, you can send me an email at [email protected]We will not do anything further with this information.
Statistics:
Reizen & Reistips uses Google Analytics and statistics from hosting provider TransIP, which allow us to determine which pages are visited and the browsing behavior of visitors to my website. We use this data to gain insight into the performance of Reizen & Reistips and, if necessary, to optimize the website. While this data doesn't contain any personal data, we can see the anonymized IP address. All statistics have been stored since the beginning of the connection with Google Analytics. This allows us to continue monitoring the growth of Reizen & Reistips. The data is not shared with third parties, but we do report the number of visitors per month on various external websites.
What cookies or similar technology do we use?
Reizen & Reistips uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website.
